The future of food delivery in Southeast Asia

15 March 2022, 3:30 pm SGT

Food delivery grew by leaps and bounds across the Southeast Asia region, driven by and large by the pandemic and its movement restrictions.

The profile of those ordering in shifted from time-strapped millennials to consumers across the board. Several F&B owners – from large global multinationals to mom and pop outlets — made the shift to having a digital presence.

Our latest webinar discusses the future of food delivery in the region, which is estimated to reach US$28 billion by 2025. The panel will discuss the consumer trends that have driven the rapid growth of food delivery, and whether these are here to stay; how FMCG retailers are modifying their business models to make the most of this new avenue of growth, and how brands with a long-standing dine-in tradition are working with platforms like Grab to reach an increasingly digital consumer base.

Topic discussed will include:

  • The rapid rise in food delivery to become the most penetrated digital service in the post-pandemic world (according to the e-conomy study 2021);
  • Why despite rapid adoption, there’s still headroom for growth;
  • The evolving relationship between brands and food delivery platforms

The webinar is scheduled for March 15, 2022 at 3:30 pm SGT.
