Yuyu Peng is Head of China Renewable Infrastructure at Schroders Capital, the private market investment division of Schroders Group, and is based in Hong Kong. He was previously Senior Principal Investments & Team Lead at DWS. Yuyu has over 17 years of experience in fund management, private equity investment, investment banking, and brings in-depth knowledge and broad reach on the renewable energy and environment sector in China.
Earlier he served as a director at Asia Climate Partners (ACP), where he was involved in structured growth capital investment in renewable energy and environmental sectors and in deal sourcing and execution. Yuyu was formerly general manager of overseas investment department at GCL Energy Technology, overseeing project development, financing and M&A activities in power generation sector in high-growth markets in ASEAN, the Middle East and Africa. Other previous roles include working as a senior associate at Oaktree Capital Management and as an analyst at Rothschild & Co. He started his career as a trainee at Ardian and Societe Generale. Yuyu holds a Bachelor of Economics (Concentration in Insurance and Actuarial Science) degree from Tsinghua University and a MSc in Management (Concentration in Finance) from ESCP Europe. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
