Mr. Yao is a seasoned early-stage investor and Founding Partner of Kinzon Capital. With nearly 20 years of experience in venture capital, strategic planning, and corporate development, he has successfully guided numerous technology companies to global capital market exits. His representative investment portfolio includes XPeng (NYSE: XPEV /9868.HK), WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD / 0800.HK), RoboSense (2498.HK), Aurora Mobile (NASDAQ: JG), LimX Dynamics, Lockin Technology, and Adaps Photonics. Previously, Mr. Yao served as the Shenzhen Chief Representative at IDG Capital and as a Managing Director at Fosun International (00656.HK). Earlier in his career, he was responsible for software R&D at China Great Wall Technology Group. A highly decorated investor, Mr. Yao has been consecutively named to the Top 50 lists by “ChinaVenture” and “Jiemian News.” He also received the Equity Investment Golden Bull Award from China Securities Journal and the Annual Investor Golden Eagle Award from Securities Times.
