Tsubasa Suruga

Tsubasa is a staff writer for Nikkei and Nikkei Asia, covering business, politics and macroeconomics in Southeast Asia. Before moving to Singapore as a correspondent, he covered the tech industry, telcos and financial institutions based in Tokyo. Prior to joining Nikkei, he spent four years in Singapore working for Jiji Press, a Japanese wire service. Tsubasa graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo with BA in international studies.
