Rajiv brings over 35 years of expertise in investment, asset management, and corporate governance. His experience encompasses infrastructure, financial services, telecommunications, oil and gas, construction, and real estate. He has led global teams, overseeing investments, corporate finance, treasury, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and restructuring for multinational corporations.

He has raised capital for large-scale projects and corporate initiatives, cultivating strong relationships with leading banks and multilateral finance agencies.

Rajiv joined NIIF in 2017 as Executive Director and COO and served as interim CEO and MD in 2023. Under his leadership, NIIF launched the India-Japan Fund with JBIC, collaborated with the U.S. on a green transition fund, and devised strategies for successor funds.
