Pinn Lawjindakul is Partner at Lightspeed, and is part of the firm’s Southeast Asia team. She focuses on growing the Lightspeed platform in the region, and provides the necessary counsel and direction for the firm’s investments primarily in consumer and financial technology companies.Prior to Lightspeed, she worked alongside founders across all business life stages in China and India, most notably companies such as Flipkart, Ola, Hike, Razorpay, and Uxin. She was also a board member of Flip, an Indonesian FinTech company. Her first foray into the investment world was with Bain & Company, where she advised private equity clients on due diligence in the first wave of technology start-ups in South East Asia. She was enticed by the possibility to radically transform the region through innovation, and decided to join Grab – the first Decacorn of SEA – in several operations roles where she understood the intricacies of scaling a business across multiple countries and markets.As she continued to develop her career, she has spent time in the U.S. and around the world in various roles and capacities. The myriad of experiences has helped boost her understanding of trends in mature tech economies and enables her to contextualize those learnings to emerging markets in SEA.Pinn has a double degree in Finance and Psychology from Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
