Okie Octavia Kurniawan, the CEO of Volta Indonesia/PT Energi Selalu Baru, is a veteran with extensive experience in managing logistics business, modern trade and general trade business, as well as in sales operation and trade marketing.
Okie currently serves as CEO of PT Energy Selalu Baru (ESB), which owns the two-wheeler brand Volta, which was founded in 2017. ESB is a joint venture between logistics company SiCepat and NFC Indonesia, a subsidiary of the publicly-listed PT M Cash Integrasi.
Volta recently raised significant funding from Twin Towers Ventures, the investment arm of Petronas Ventures, and Rigel Capital. Besides two-wheeler EVs, ESB also offers battery swapping stations and a rent-to-own service for its motorcycles through NFC Indonesia’s other subsidiary Semolis.
