Niels Christian Holst

Niels Christian Holst, Partner at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), based in Copenhagen, Co-Head of the Growth Markets Fund with responsibility for investment origination and execution.
Mr. Holst has more than 20 years of corporate finance experience focused on power and renewable energy globally. Specifically, in relation to Growth Markets, his experience of projects includes amongst others China, India, and most Growth Market Fund target countries.
Outside of the Growth Markets, his power asset experience includes most EU countries, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Japan, and Taiwan.
His technology experience includes offshore & onshore wind, solar PV, concentrating solar thermal, biomass, combined heat and power, battery storage, gas & coal-fired generation, nuclear as well as transmission & distribution.
Prior to CIP, Mr. Holst held senior positions at Citigroup, Fieldstone, and Capricorn.
Mr. Holst holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
