Nicholas Tyson

Nick is an Investment Principal at K3 Ventures, overseeing the investment activities, portfolio management and fundraising for the organisation. Over the past 10 years, Nick has deployed over US$1bn+ into 15+ direct investments in Asia across private equity and venture capital, primarily focused on the technology sector. Prior to K3, Nick was at B Capital Group, a $6bn global venture capital firm, overseeing the firm’s new investments in Southeast Asia and managing the Southeast Asia portfolio, including companies such as VNG, Aspire, Ninja Van, Carro and Kopi Kenangan. Nick previously spent 3 years with the Abraaj Group, covering Southeast Asia and India, and he began his career with Morgan Stanley as part of the firm’s investment banking team in New York, advising Fortune 500 companies in the energy and renewables sectors on capital raising and M&A. Nick received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Economics and History from Williams College and MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
