Murli Ravi is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Tin Men Capital, with over 20 years of institutional investment experience across Southeast Asia. Prior to founding the firm, Murli was Head of South and Southeast Asian Investments at JAFCO Asia, Japan’s largest independent venture capital firm, as well as a member of the investments team at Temasek Holdings.

Murli has served on more than 25 venture-backed startup boards across the region, having validated the B2B enterprise thesis before Tin Men’s fund launch via independent board positions at various enterprise-focused startups between 2014 and 2017. He has received the CFA charter and holds degrees in engineering and finance from the National University of Singapore and a joint programme of Nanyang Technological University and Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
