Mohamed Al Maani

Mohamed Al Maani currently leads private equity fund investments for Oman Investment Authority (OIA) in the Asia Pacific.
He officially joined OIA in 2015, he moved through different teams within Risk and Private Equity. Since 2019, Mohamed focus has been Asia PE.
Mohamed was former Investment Manager of the Vietnam Oman Investment Company, a joint venture between OIA and the Vietnamese government’s State Capital Investment Corporation.
He was also employed in State General Reserve Fund as an investment risk analyst from 2015 to 2019. In addition to his occupation in investment, Mohamed acts as a consultant to small-and-medium businesses at Khotwa, a company he founded to raise the awareness and capabilities of entrepreneurs.
