Mike Imam

Mike boasts more than 25 years of Public and Private Markets experience in Asia — across both Greater China and South- and Southeast Asia. As the Co-Founder & CEO of Silverhorn Group, Mike also serves as a Board Member for several private portfolio companies. Mike had an extensive background in banking and asset management. Prior to co-founding Silverhorn, Mike held the position of Director for Schroders Asset Management, where he headed up their wealth management distribution in Asia and developed the business through private banks. In his vast experience, Mike has launched investment strategies across different asset classes, covering China and Pan-Asian strategies with initial capital totalling over USD 3bn (more than USD 10bn current capital). He has also led early-stage deals and co-seeded investment strategies; most notably Akulaku and Welab, two of the most successful regional Fintechs. Prior to Schroders, Mike also served as Head of Private Banking Advisory Asia at Credit Suisse. Mike currently holds a master’s degree and completed a Ph.D. thesis in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
