Michael Hu is a Managing Director and the Head of Asia at HQ Capital, based in Singapore. He is responsible for all investment and business development activity in Asia.
Prior to joining HQ Capital, Mr. Hu was a Managing Director at Ardian in Singapore, where he led the origination and execution of secondaries and primaries in the Asia Pacific region, as well as business development activities in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Prior to joining Ardian, Michael was a Principal at Greenhill & Co. in their Capital Advisory team in Hong Kong where he led the origination and execution of secondary market transactions in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to this, he was an investment professional at QIC in the Global Private Equity team in Australia.
He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne where he received his Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). Mr. Hu is fluent in English and Chinese.
