He has more than 30 years of experience in the private equity industry.
Prior to joining LGT Capital Partners in 2026, Mr. Kobayashi held senior positions at MCP Asset Management, Rhone Group, Capital Dynamics, Alternative Investment Capital, and Mitsubishi Corporation. Throughout his career, he has played a leading role in developing private equity investment solutions for Japanese institutional investors, including fund-of-funds (FoF) and separately managed account (SMA) programs.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hitotsubashi University
