Datuk Wira Johan Rozali-Wathooth started his career 25 years ago in London within the corporate restructuring industry before transitioning into the alternative investments field. Prior to his return to Malaysia, he served leading global private equity and special situation alternative investment firms in various leadership roles. In 2018 Datuk Johan founded Bintang Capital Partners Berhad (“Bintang”) an award-winning Southeast Asian impact investment firm.
Datuk Johan serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Bintang.
Datuk Johan previously served as the Deputy Managing Director of AHAM, a leading independent asset management company in Malaysia, between 2016-2026 after leading the integration of Hwang DBS into the Affin Financial Group.
