Jieying Huangis Head of APAC Portfolio Strategy for Asia Pacific Private Debt at Muzinich & Co., where she is responsible for portfolio strategy across the firm’s private debt investments in the region. She joined the firm in September 2020 and has more than 15 years of experience across Asia-Pacific corporate debt markets.
Jieying has extensive expertise across the private debt investment lifecycle, including transaction origination, financial modelling, deal structuring, legal documentation review and portfolio management.
Before joining Muzinich, she was with BFAM, a US$4 billion hedge fund in Hong Kong, where she focused on direct lending, special situations and distressed debt opportunities across Asia Pacific. Prior to that, she worked in the distressed debt and loans trading business at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, participating in a number of corporate debt restructurings across the region. She also served as an investment analyst at Leafgreen Capital Partners, specialising in mezzanine financing and structured growth capital for mid-market companies in Southeast Asia.
Jieying graduated from Singapore Management University.
