Guntur Mallarangeng is the CEO and one of the co-founders of DELOS. Guntur started his career in management consulting with Kearney, a global consultancy, and Venture Capital, with Convergence Ventures, a leading Indonesian VC firm after graduating from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. He is now bringing his passion for building companies and organizations into the aquaculture industry, where he aims to build a leading seafood company. Prior to DELOS, Guntur owned and operated his own shrimp farm, Dewi Laut Aquaculture, in Garut, West Java. The farm has grown to become one of the highest producing farms in the country, and has maintained a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification since 2018 – a track record that inspired the inception of DELOS. In his current role, he provides leadership and strategic decision-making, and oversees multiple divisions within the company. Thus far, he and the founding team have grown DELOS from a pre-revenue, pre-product company to building a solid offering of technological and aquaculture services, as well as integrating the company into the global seafood market. He has also led the company through three venture-backed funding rounds, most recently a series-A round led by Monk’s Hill Ventures.
