Edwin Wibowo is the President Director of PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk (WBSA) and Co-founder & CFO of Waresix Group, an integrated multimodal logistics company delivering end-to-end solutions across land transportation, freight forwarding, warehousing, and container depot services. At just 37, he is one of the youngest leaders of a publicly listed logistics company in Indonesia — overseeing operations spanning 220+ cities across the archipelago, with a mission to make Indonesia’s supply chain more reliable and sustainable at scale.
Under his leadership, WBSA has grown into a business moving goods through a network of 3,000+ trucks, 150,000+ sqm of managed warehouse and terminal space, and 250+ freight partnerships serving over 700 customers nationwide — with land transport volumes nearly doubling and warehouse throughput up more than 30% over the past three years. Edwin holds full responsibility for the company’s strategic direction, core operations, and expansion, and often speaks to the scale of opportunity still ahead: Indonesia’s status as an archipelagic nation, paired with strong domestic industrial and consumption activity, continues to drive demand for logistics that can move seamlessly across land, sea, and warehousing.
A mechanical engineer by training — with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley — Edwin brings a systems-oriented approach to a business built on multimodal complexity. His path into logistics began in 2017, when he co-founded Waresix alongside Andree Susanto, drawing on nearly a decade of prior experience in logistics operations and software systems. What started as an on-demand warehousing solution grew, under their leadership, into a comprehensive logistics and business solutions provider, delivering end-to-end supply chain services and AI-powered software to fuel business growth. WBSA, founded in 2021, has since emerged as the group’s flagship integrated logistics platform — the entity Edwin now leads as President Director.
