Dyota Marsudi is a young leader currently serving as President Director at PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk. (Aladin Bank). Aladin Bank is the first Islamic digital bank in Indonesia with the aim of opening and facilitating access to digital-based Islamic banking services to serve all levels of
society.
Dyota earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Indonesia before continuing his studies at the Institut Européen d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) and earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on private equity, finance and
entrepreneurship.
Dyota started his career in 2011 as a consultant at a consulting service provider company Boston Consulting Group (BCG). After 6 (six) years working in BCG, he continued his career by establishing a startup called Happy5.co which is engaged in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and focuses on human capital managementsystems. He managed to build the company from scratch to reach a turnover of IDR 10 billion.
He later turned into a Senior Investor for Vertex Ventures, the leading Venture Capital company based in Singapore, before officially appointed as President Director at Aladin Bank in 2021. During his role as Senior Executive Director at Vertex Ventures, he focused on finding startup
companies to invest in. His responsibilities cover almost all countries in Southeast Asia, starting from Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia,
the Philippines, and Indonesia.
