Dr. Basil Lui is Founding Partner and CEO of August Global Partners (AGP), an investment platform focused on healthcare, leveraging deep technology, AI and advanced manufacturing to drive innovation and value creation. He has over two decades of experience spanning venture capital, growth investing, fund investments and post-investment value creation across Asia. Basil has worked closely with founders, corporates and investors to scale technology-driven businesses globally, with deep expertise in healthcare innovation, deep tech commercialization and emerging technologies. Prior to founding AGP, he held senior investment leadership roles at EDBI, where he led investments in healthcare and emerging technologies.
