Adrian Li is the Founder & Managing Partner of ACV Capital, a private equity investment firm backing high-growth businesses across Southeast Asia. The firm manages over US$500 million in assets across five funds and has invested in more than 120 businesses over the past decade. Its portfolio includes Xendit, Stockbit, Shipper, Astro, Carsome, M17, 707, and other category-leading companies.
Prior to ACV Capital, Adrian co-founded Convergence Ventures in 2014 before co-founding ACV Capital in 2019. Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Director at Rocket Internet, where he built and scaled ventures across China and Southeast Asia.
Adrian’s entrepreneurial journey began with Idapted, where, as CEO and Co-founder, he raised two rounds of funding and built the company into China’s largest live online English training platform. Idapted was acquired by Eleutian in 2010.
Adrian holds a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an EMBA from Tsinghua University. He is also a Kauffman Fellow (Class 21) and serves as a mentor to entrepreneurs through organizations including Endeavor, Founder Institute, and Antler.
