Abhishek is the founder CEO of Oona which is a digital forward general insurer focused on Southeast Asia markets. Abhishek is passionate about fostering a culture of innovation and using customer focus as the burning platform to transform organisations.
Abhishek has close to 30 years of experience across various geographies and industries. Prior to founding Oona, Abhishek held several executive positions with FWD Group and Prudential across the globe including as Group Chief Officer of New Business Models, CEO for FWD Singapore and CEO of Prudential Poland.
With Prudential, he spent significant time in Malaysia and Hong Kong including managing bancassurance. His track record of spearheading successful digital transformation and driving revenue growth has earned him recognition as a trailblazer in the industry.
Abhishek is an BSc Honours graduate from SRCC, University of Delhi and holds a post-graduate in Management from IIM Calcutta.
