Mr. Shaw founded ShawKwei & Partners in 1998, a Hongkong, Singapore and Shanghai based Private Equity manager investing and building advanced manufacturing and automation business in Asian to compete in today’s global markets. ShawKwei’s investment management has won the industry’s high recognition, with ShawKwei & Partners receiving the Operational Excellence Award in Asia-Pacific’s Upper Mid-market by Private Equity International (PEI) in 2017.
Prior to founding ShawKwei & Partners, Kyle has managed Asian investment portfolios starting in 1990 with Security Pacific National Bank in Hong Kong, then in 1993 with the Tudor Investment Group in Shanghai. Kyle has over 25 years private equity experience in Asia.
Kyle received an MBA degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BS Commerce from the University of Virginia. He also studied Mandarin Chinese at Taiwan’s National Normal University.
