Kulbhushan is Vice President – Strategic Investments, Asia for Allianz Investment Management. In his role he leads investment strategy and alternative investments for the Asian operating entities of Allianz. He also leads private credit fund investments in the region.
Allianz Investment Management (AIM) is responsible for the investment of premiums earned by Allianz insurance companies worldwide. In Asia, AIM’s Singapore hub oversees investments in 11 countries with an AUM of 30 Bn. Euros.
Kulbhushan has over 14 years of experience in the financial services and commodities industries. He has diverse experiences in the fields of asset management, investment management, strategy and M&A. His prior assignments were at Canara HSBC Life, Fidelity and the Essar Group of India.
He has also been a SaaS tech entrepreneur. A Post Graduate in Management from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management and Research, he is a B.Com (Hons) graduate from the prestigious Delhi University.
