Why It Matters?

Going public enables companies to raise funding from a larger pool of investors and also helps boost their brand and reputation across markets. Tapping the IPO market is also seen as a viable exit route for venture capital and private equity investors in mature startups. SEA’s large base of startups creates strong pipeline of IPOs in the tech sector. Amidst the funding winter, and against the changing macro landscape, SEA startups have been forced to focus on profitability. This will result in a sizable pipeline of IPO-ready companies. Most analysts anticipate a tech resurgence once the macro-outlook stabilizes.

SE Asian companies have been looking at regional and global exchanges for their market debut. However, the road to listing is not without challenges. DealStreetAsia’s bespoke summit will unravel the various listing options and present a working toolkit for companies eyeing a future listing.
