Hendrik Susanto is Chief Investment Officer at Traveloka, where he leads all external inorganic growth strategy for the group, including minority investments, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Traveloka, Hendrik built an extensive track record in venture capital and private equity investing in the U.S. and Asia. Most recently, Hendrik was CEO and managing director of Ancora Capital, a private equity firm focused on the consumer-facing and natural resources sectors in Indonesia.
Before returning to Asia, Hendrik invested in venture capital and growth equity opportunities globally for a New York-based family office. He also has extensive experience investing in technology companies in the U.S. at IDG Ventures in San Francisco. Hendrik started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and Singapore, with stints in Investment Research, Investment Banking, and Principal Investment Area.
