Dr. Pinak has been associated with HealthQuad since its inception in 2016. He comes with over 20 years of rich clinical experience in the field of Critical Care Medicine and healthcare operations. He was the Director of Critical Care Medicine at Fortis Group of Hospitals in New Delhi, managing more than 150 critical care beds and a team of more than 300 doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. In this role, he also guided the Fortis Group in Quality and Infection Control and was a member of the Pharma and Therapeutics Committee. He was a Teacher for the Post Doctoral Fellowship Program in Critical Care Medicine. He ran India’s first E-ICU program – CritiNext sponsored by Fortis which delivered E-ICU services to more than 16 small hospitals across Tier-III/IV towns of India, Bangladesh and Nepal.
He currently leads the team at HealthQuad, a health-tech focused Indian venture fund, in deal sourcing, clinical evaluation, market understanding, due diligence and investor relations. He works closely with the management of the portfolio companies to add tangible operational and strategic value. He is also a mentor to start-ups identified by the National Health Mission and is also on the advisory panel of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for their healthcare incubation program.
