Dr Amit Varma is the co-founder and managing partner of Quadria Capital, one of Asia’s largest healthcare private equity firms, with assets under management exceeding $1.5 billion across South and Southeast Asia.

In addition, Dr Varma is a sponsor of Healthquad, a healthcare focused venture capital firm investing in technology backed companies in India. He also spearheaded the $100-million healthcare and education focused India Build Out Fund.

He co-led the deployment of RHC Principal, a $700 million principal pool of capital across various healthcare sub-sectors in Asia. Previously, he has worked with leading healthcare groups in India, including Fortis Healthcare, Narayan Hrudayalaya and Manipal Heart Foundation.

He has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Pittsburgh and the Cleveland Clinic.
