With IPOs and M&A exits taking longer to materialize, liquidity has become a defining challenge for Asia’s private capital industry. LPs are increasingly using the secondary market to rebalance portfolios and generate distributions, while GPs are turning to continuation funds, preferred equity and other structured solutions to return capital.
