Nakisa Jobling is the Head of Legal and a Managing Director of Tybourne Capital Management, a global investment firm founded in 2012. Tybourne employs a fundamental research-intensive approach to investing in public and private equity markets with an Asian thematic bias. The firm is headquartered in Hong Kong, with an office in San Francisco.
Nakisa has extensive experience in the investment industry and M&A activity across the globe. She began her career as a corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance in London, also spending time in Tokyo before moving to Hong Kong, where she built up in-depth experience supporting MNCs, asset managers, private equity funds and smaller corporations across multiple sectors. Prior to joining Tybourne Capital Management, she was Regional Counsel at Nord Anglia Education, a private equity-backed MNC then head-quartered in Hong Kong and operating 61 schools across 28 countries, where she led a team and focused on executing the company’s M&A agenda across Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.
Nakisa obtained her law degree with First Class Honours from Warwick University, and is qualified to practice law in England & Wales and Hong Kong.
