Seemant brings 20 years of experience in Healthcare Innovation, Venture Investments & Business Consulting.
Seemant leads HealthXCapital, the first dedicated early stage healthcare VC in South and South east Asia. HealthXCapital is backed by marquee institutions and partners such as Apollo Hospitals, Jungle Ventures, Eight Road Ventures, Infocom (Japan) and Enterprise Singapore amongst others. Until 2017, he was the CEO – Innovations & Research at Apollo Hospitals. He spearheaded Apollo’s initiatives to scout, evaluate, invest and commercialize innovations.
Seemant serves/served as a Director on the boards of multiple healthcare startups. In his previous assignments, Seemant has had diverse experience across business consulting at Ernst & Young, Strategy and transformation at Nokia Solutions Networks and IT consulting at Tata Consultancy Services.
Seemant is a graduate of Business Indian School of Business (ISB), India with executive education from Berkeley-Haas (U.S) and Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv. He has a Bachelors in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology.
