Weihan Wong is an accomplished investment professional with extensive experience in private equity, investment banking, and strategic capital deployment across developed and Southeast Asian markets. As Director of Investments at Danantara Indonesia, he plays a key role in shaping investment strategies and driving value creation across the institution’s portfolio.

Prior to this, Weihan spent nearly a decade at GIC in Singapore as part of the Private Equity, Direct Investments Group, where he led and executed investments across a diverse range of sectors, with a focus on long-term value creation and portfolio performance. Earlier in his career, he was with Citi’s Investment Banking division in London, advising on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions within the EMEA Industrials sector.

Weihan holds a Master of Science in Finance with Distinction from Imperial College Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance with First Class Honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
