Piyush Gupta founded Kenro Capital, a leading secondaries fund providing liquidity solutions to shareholders in the region’s maturing venture capital markets. The Fund focuses on growth stage companies across consumer, financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors in India and Southeast Asia. Prior to founding Kenro Capital, Piyush spent 7 years as a Managing Director at Sequoia India / Peak XV Partners. Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years in Investment Banking, last as Asia-Pacific Head of TMT Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. In the past 1 year, Kenro Capital has executed over $120 million in direct secondary transactions, with investments including K-12 (Orchids International School), Pine Labs and GIVA. Piyush is based in Singapore.
