Mr. Cliff Zhang is the Chairman and CEO of Templewater, a leading private equity investment and asset management firm in Asia headquartered in Hong Kong. He also serves as the Chairman of Tamarind Health (one of Asia’s largest oncology healthcare groups), KA Group (a global leader in providing high-performance, end-to-end solutions across the semiconductor testing and assembly value chain), and Wisdom Motor (a leading zero-emission commercial vehicle technology company from China). He is also a member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
Prior to founding Templewater, he was the Senior Vice President at one of the largest family offices in Asia, focusing on private equity transactions, global mergers and acquisitions, and corporate development, deploying over US$5 billion of capital during his five years with the firm. Prior to that, he was with HSBC and Deutsche Bank investment banking division in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in private equity, corporate finance and international capital markets.
Cliff holds a Master of Engineering Science degree from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree from the University of Waterloo.
