Ritu Arora is a business and Investment Leader with global exposure and over 20 years of experience. She is a founding member of 2 very successful Life Insurance ventures in India (MetLife India and Canara HSBC JV). She has been involved in Strategic Investment governance of HSBC Insurance in China, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia since Jun 2014. She has also been an Independent Director on the boards of HCL Infosystems Ltd. (since Apr 2015) & Canara Bank Securities Ltd. (since Oct 2014). She was also nterviewed and featured as Economy & Capital markets expert in leading electronic and print media.
As Chief Investment Officer manage capital market investments of $ 1.7bn in Equity & Debt, Ritu has consistently outperforming benchmarks and peers over last 6 years. She is responsible for Investment Governance of HSBC Insurance in China, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia. She was awarded “Leading Women in Finance” by Women in Leadership Forum India, and “Women Leader of Choice” award 2013 by WILL.
