Looi Wen Jie is Co-Head of Investment at Jelawang Capital, Malaysia’s national fund-of-funds and a wholly owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional, the country’s sovereign wealth fund. At Jelawang Capital, he leads efforts to identify and back high-potential venture capital fund managers globally.

He oversees the firm’s core initiatives, including the Emerging Fund Managers Programme and the Regional Fund Managers Initiative to position Malaysia as a competitive regional hub for innovation capital.

Wen Jie began his career in assurance before transitioning to deal advisory and investment banking and has worked on cross-border M&A transactions for multinational clients. He brings a strong foundation in financial analysis and capital deployment to his role at Jelawang Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a member of CPA Australia.
