Billy joins CBC Group as a member of the company’s Management Committee and will help lead portfolio management (JVC) and private equity investments.

Billy brings with him over 20 years of combined healthcare experience in executive management, strategy, financing, accounting and investment banking. Most recently, Billy served as CFO of Zai Lab for over five years based in Hong Kong and Shanghai, helping to grow the employee base from less than 100 in China to over 2,100 across three continents and pioneering a global financing strategy that raised USD 2.6bn from two IPOs and four follow-on offerings.  

Billy received a M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, M.S. in Accounting from University of Virginia and B.S. in Finance from the University of Southern California.
