Valery has over 20 years of experience in project and acquisition finance within renewables, power, utilities and infrastructure sectors across Asia and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Pentagreen Capital, Valery was Chief Financial Officer at Intercontinental Energy (ICE), a leading integrated developer of green hydrogen projects globally. Before ICE, he held various senior positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), as head of international project finance based in Tokyo and head of advisory for Asia Pacific based in Singapore, and held roles in the HSBC infrastructure and energy group and the Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) equity capital markets department in London.
