Melvyn Yeo

Melvyn is the founder of TRIREC and an early-stage investor with more than 20 years of experience.
Through his role at TRIREC, Melvyn is an active investor in several companies including Ample, FreeWire Technologies, Xpansiv, Pika and Oort Energy. He currently also sits on the board of Gush, Hungry Planet, Aether Diamonds and AirCarbon Exchange.Before starting TRIREC, Melvyn co-founded Thirdrock Group which was the leading Asian independent asset manager and was acquired by UK-listed Schroders in 2019. He was the Deputy CEO of Schroders Wealth Management Asia till 2021 and also chaired the Asia Investment Committee and co-Chaired the Private Assets Investment Committee for Schroders Wealth Management globally. Melvyn was also a member of several committees at EDPR Sunseap. Prior to Melvyn’s successful entrepreneurial endeavors, he spent more than 10 years with Goldman Sachs in both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
Melvyn has a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
