Ronald Simorangkir (Ronald) currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI).

Mandiri Capital Indonesia (MCI) is the Corporate Venture Capital arm of Bank Mandiri, Indonesia’s largest bank. As the country’s leading Corporate VC, MCI invests in key growth sectors, including fintech, e-commerce, agriculture, healthcare, and education.

With over 20 years at Mandiri Group, Ronald has held various leadership roles across banking and financial services. His expertise spans M&A, Treasury, International Banking, Strategy & Performance, and Accounting. He currently chairs the Investment Committees of three different funds.

Prior to joining MCI, Ronald held the position as Senior VP, Head of Business Transformation overseeing Mandiri Group’s long term transformation strategy and execution.

Ronald holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
