Jecky is a lawyer by training and architect for the formation of the ACTIVE Fund, the largest venture capital fund in the Philippines, backed by Ayala and Globe.
Jecky is Director of Legal and Compliance at Kickstart. As Legal Director and a member of the Investment Team he is involved in legal and commercial diligence end to-end from deal evaluation, recommendation, structuring, closing, and post-closing. Jecky also assists Kickstart’s portfolio companies providing advice with regard to corporate compliance, structuring, and set-up.
Prior to Kicktart, Jecky was an associate attorney with Picazo Buyco Tan Fider & Santos before joining the firm of Siguion Reyna Montecillo & Ongsiako, with a focus on corporate and labor law. Jecky holds a JD from the University of the Philippines Law School (2011) and an MBA from the Said Business School, Oxford University (2017).
