Mr Abhishek Bakshi is the Head of ASEAN Issuer Services at HKEX. He joined the exchange in July 2022 and is responsible for leading corporate client engagement for HKEX across ASEAN region. He brings over sixteen years of Investment Banking experience, with ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland (Natwest Group), CIMB and Maybank.

Over the past decade, Abhishek has been based in Singapore covering ASEAN Equity Capital Markets and in his last role before joining HKEX, Abhishek was a Director, responsible for leading coverage of the ASEAN (ex-Malaysia) Equity Capital Markets business for Maybank. His diverse experience includes client coverage, equity origination, execution and distribution responsibilities across Asia.

Abhishek has an MBA in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and spent eight years in Hong Kong before relocating to Singapore.
