Adrian is Founder & Managing Partner at AC Ventures (“ACV”), formerly Convergence Ventures. He has over 15 years of technology entrepreneur and investment experience in emerging markets China and Indonesia. ACV is a leading early stage Indonesia focused technology venture capital fund. ACV manages over US$380M in AUM invested across four funds. Notable investments include, Stockbit, Koinworks, Julo, Carsome and Shipper. Previously, Adrian co-founded several ventures in China and Indonesia.Adrian’s 1st Internet venture was in China, 2006 where he built a venture backed online Education business to an eventual acquisition in 2010. He later joined Rocket Internet as a Managing Director where he worked on incubating new technology ventures in China and South East Asia. At the end of 2014 he launched Convergence Ventures which became ACV in 2019.He is a business mentor at several organizations including Endeavour, Founders Institute and Antler. He has served on the board of Entrepreneurs Organization is several roles including Beijing Chapter President and Regional Communications Director. He is also a member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) in Indonesia.Adrian graduated from Cambridge University with a BA and MA in Economics and was elected a Hawk in recognition of his contributions to University and National level Judo. He obtained his MBA from Stanford and is currently enrolled in the Tsinghua OBOR EMBA program. He is a Kauffman Fellow in Class 21.
